🍒 A Scene of Self-Indulgence (and Self-Awareness)

This piece started as a playful collage — but like a lot of my work lately, it turned into something more reflective.

The oversized food, the glossy bow, the flat pink space — it all sits somewhere between indulgence and restraint. Nature and artifice. Temptation and control.

In a way, it’s a bit of a self-portrait. I’ve always wrestled with how I’m seen: my weight, my worth, the constant measuring-up we do against ourselves, others, and how I spend my time - in nature and indoors. This piece doesn't offer answers - but it holds the tension.

The title is a play on words: “Everything in moderation, including moderation.”
Because I’ve gone a bit over the top, in all the best ways.
