This piece is loosely inspired by a scene in Modern Love, starring Zoë Chao and Gbenga Akinnagbe. The episode follows two strangers who share an undeniable connection and make a pact to meet again - only for fate (and a global pandemic) to intervene. A beautiful, fleeting kind of romance that never quite got its second chance. ✨
