A hyperreal pop piece that’s all sugar-rush and nostalgia. Glossy pink glaze, rainbow sprinkles, and punchy block-blue type come together in a bold still life that feels part sweet treat, part vintage ad.

This painting is all about contrast — soft hands and sticky icing, playful curves and graphic edges, light shadows and loud colour.

It’s the third and final in my punchy food series (after Cappuccino and Easy Peasy Lemon Squeezy) and a total joy to paint — even if I had to resist eating my reference material. 😅
