A study in neon light, reflection, and the quiet hum of a New York night, Fanelli Café captures a fleeting moment outside one of SoHo’s oldest bars. The iconic red sign glows above a slick, rain-stained street — where broken ice catches the light, shadows blur, and city life spills softly into the dark.

Look closer and you’ll spot the glimmer of passing traffic, a lone figure caught mid-step, and a scatter of ice glinting like glass beneath the stoplight’s glow.

Painted using high-pigment oils, every detail was rendered by hand over several days — layer by layer — from the soft, atmospheric backgrounds to the crisp edges of signage and streetlight reflections.
